The Canção Nova Community celebrated the twentieth anniversary of its mission in the Holy Land, bringing the voice, richness, and beauty of the Land of the Fifth Gospel to the world.

The celebration took place on September 3 with a solemn Mass at the Chapel of Maria Bambina, in the Old City of Jerusalem, presided over by Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa.
Since its arrival in the Holy Land, the community has dedicated itself to evangelization through the media, helping to share with the world the reality of Christians who live in this land and encouraging pilgrimages to the places of the Gospel.

In 2006, the Christian Media Center was founded in Jerusalem through a collaboration between the Canção Nova Community and the Custody of the Holy Land, strengthening the Church’s mission of communication from the Holy Land.
Through its service, the community seeks to reveal another face of the Holy Land—one marked not only by conflict, but also by faith, hope, and a message of peace rooted in the Gospel.
